Throughout my degree program and even back to my own time as a public school student, I've noticed that the youngest learners tend to be the most creative. Somewhere along the way, students become more reluctant to take risks and let their voices be heard. Art education should reignite this youthful fearlessness by being a progressive journey that rewards rigorous expression. To inspire this within my students, I am continuously evolving my dual identity as an artist and educator.
